Abstracts

Abstract submission is now closed!

Abstracts in all fields of the aquatic sciences are invited and can be submitted for consideration either as oral or poster presentations.

Due to time constraints, please note that there is no guarantee that your preferred format will be awarded.

Abstract Submission Information:

Maximum number of words in the abstract is 250.
Please ensure that the email addresses as submitted are correct as these addresses will be used in all correspondence and acceptance notifications.
Late submissions will not be considered.
Please use the formatting in the template provided below and complete all of the required information.
Email the completed abstract form to sasaqstreasurer@gmail.com
Receipt of abstract submission will be sent out within two (2) working days.
Delegates will be informed of the abstract outcomes within 2-3 weeks after submission.
Abstracts need to reach the organising committee by 7 October 2021.

Presentation Information:

Oral presentations:
- Presenters will be required to submit a pre-recorded presentation (using PowerPoint or similar software).
- Presentations will be limited to 10 minutes.
- Time will be provided at the end of the presenter's session to answer questions (asked through the chat or in person in the Q&A session).
- All recordings need to be submitted to sasaqstreasurer@gmail.com by 27 October 2021.
Posters:
- Poster sessions form an integral part of the conference, and poster presentations will be displayed for the duration of the conference.
- Time will be provided during the poster session for questions.
